Dr. Belén García Álvarez

Belén García Álvarez holds a BA in Law and a PhD in Law from the University of the Basque Country. She is currently Assistant Professor of the University of Deusto, where she teaches at the Bilbao campus. Belén García Álvarez teaches BA courses on law. Specifically, she teaches the following subjects: Business Law, Company Law and Insolvency Law. Her publications mainly focus on Commercial Law. During the past few years she has carried out research on Transport Law, including Maritime Law, and in Company Law. Belén García Álvarez is part of a research project with researchers from other Universities on Transport Law, as well as she takes part in another research project on Company Law and Law of Nonprofits Entities. Other research interests include Competition Law and Industrial Property Law.
