Cristina Clementina Arenas Alegría holds a BA in Law and a PhD in Law from the University of Deusto. She is currently a lecturer at the University of Deusto, where she teaches at both the Bilbao and the Donostia campuses. Cristina Clementina Arenas Alegría is currently director of the Master's Degree in Business Law. She teaches BA courses on Law and on the Double Degree in Business Administration + Law. She also teaches MA courses on Tax Consultancy and on Business Law. Specifically, she teaches BA level Public Administrations and Their Activities, Public Contracts and Resources, and Sanctioning Power and Rule of Law. She also teaches MA level Competition Law, Administrative Contracts, and Contentious-Administrative Appeals in the Tax Sector. Her publications mainly focus on public procurement and public intervention in the economy. Cristina Clementina Arenas Alegría is part of the Transnational Law, Business and Market research team. Other research interests include Public authority and business in a multi-level and transnational context.
