Dr. Benito Sánchez is lecturer at the University of Deusto, where she teaches Criminal Law in undergraduate programmes. Prof. Benito Sánchez holds a Ph.D in Law with “Doctor Europeus” mention. Her research mainly focuses on corruption of foreign and international officials, and offences related to corruption (money laundering and organised crime). Another area of study is human trafficking. She has published two monographs and a number of papers in peer reviewed journals. She has lectured and led seminars and conferences on various topics related to criminal sciences at European and Latin American universities. She has also taken part in research projects in Spain and abroad. She has broad experience organising R&D+I activities and has worked on numerous publicly funded projects in Spain and on the European and international scene.
